The essentials course covers the core post graduate skin cancer medicine education for doctors working in general practice. The course focuses on key skills, diagnostic essentials and safe practice.
Procedures covered in this workshop include: curettage, cryotherapy, cautery, punch biopsy, shave biopsy, elliptical excision and incisional biopsy. Surgical procedures are reinforced with the opportunity to practice techniques on pigs trotters.
