The 9 hour ACCO intense dermoscopy program

The intense dermoscopy program provides 9 hours of essential training in dermoscopic diagnosis of benign and malignant skin lesions.

The program is held over two days. Lunches and refreshments are included.

Benign lesion dermoscopy; junctional naevi,
compound naevi, intradermal naevi, blue naevi, dysplastic naevi,
seborrhoeic keratoses, dermatofibroma, warts,
angiomata, sebaceous hyperplasia

Malignant lesion dermoscopy; BCCs, SCCs, Bowens disease, Keratoacanthoma

Day 2
Session 4 Morning

8:00 - 10:30

Melanoma dermoscopy; superficial spreading melanoma, lentigo maligna, nodular melanoma

Session 5 Morning

11:00 - 13:00

Vascular patterns in dermoscopy, acral dermoscopy of nails and fingerprint skin
Dermoscopy imaging and follow up

Dr Nirenberg leads our education of dermatopathology, including the correlations between pathology and dermoscopy of skin lesions.
Professor Dixon leads our education of skin lesion dermatology, skin surgery and dermoscopy. All the practical sessions with skin models is overseen by Professor Dixon
